    Technical Guidance

    Designers with a great aesthetic sense and loads of creativity often benefit from discussing their designs with us.  We're well-versed in what's behind the walls and what works and holds up well in the long run.   We can often suggest small changes that will help you improve your designs buildability, functionality and durability.   The best time to fix a problem is before it's built.   With 20 years of experience, we can help you do that.  

    We can also participate in your design process.  We can talk through your ideas, make suggestions, discuss code issues, and if you need, turn your sketches and ideas into fully developed 3D renderings and construction documents.

    Budget Insights

    In construction, little changes can save a lot of money.  We're here to help you find those changes as well as help you estimate a reasonable budget for your project.  Designs, of course, evolve.  As they do, we'll be there to update your price estimates.   Keeping your clients informed and not surprising them is key to project success.  Happy clients build your business.  We're experts at it and can make you more successful.

  • Site Visits

    Sometimes you need a contractor to evaluate your site before designing.  Can walls, sinks, heating ducts, or soffits move or be removed?  We can often help by just examining photos. If necessary, we can make a site visit.   There can be a small fee for the visit which you may bill as part of your design services.   They may be credited  if  we're awarded the construction contract.

  • Detailed Bidding & Walk-through

    Our bidding process begins with a ballpark estimate.  If the dollar amount fits your clients expectations and they wish to move forward, we'll prepare a detailed report line-iteming all the materials, fixtures and labor to complete the project.  This allows your client to make changes and know their cost benefit.  If the pricing is acceptable, we'll visit the site to update the bid according site conditions.  We'll also try to identify potential issues in advance to prepare for them.  After the report is updated, we'll work with you to provide cost saving options if desired.  When all the details are worked out, we'll provide a construction contract and discuss start dates.
