    Technical Guidance

    Designers with a great aesthetic sense and creativity often benefit from discussing their projects with a craftsman versed what's behind the walls and how everything works.  What looks great on paper, might need modifications to function properly, stay on the wall as drawn, or hold up over time with use.  Small design change can prevent projects from grinding to a halt or becoming a huge headache when they don't function like they should.   

    With 20 years under our belt, we can share our experience so you won't make the errors we can anticipate. 

    We can also participate in your design process by suggesting possible solutions to accomplish what you're after as well as standards and code issues which may come up. 

    In addition, if you need, we can turn your sketches and ideas into fully developed 3D renderings and construction documents.

    Budget Insights

    In construction, little changes can save a lot of money.  We're here to help you find those changes as well as help you estimate a reasonable budget for your project. 

    Project often start one place and drift to another as clients add to and subtract from them.  If we've found your starting point, we'll help you update your clients as things change.  Managing your clients expectations and not surprising them is key to their happiness as you take them the design and construction process.  Happy clients build your business.  We experts at it.

  • Site Visits

    Can you move that wall or not?  Sometimes you need a contractor to evaluate it before proposing your plan.   We can offer insights and come out for a site visit when necessary. We may charge a small fee for the visit depending on the circumstances, which you may bill as part of your design services.   We credit the charge if awarded the construction contract.

  • Detailed Bidding & Walk-through

    If your client will likely us our construction services, we'll create a detailed report with line items for every item of material or labor so you and your client will know exactly what they're paying for.  Our costs are transparent and fully trackable.  

    If the pricing is acceptable to your client we'll visit the job to make sure nothing was missed.  In older buildings there can be surprises and we'll try to identify them in advance so we can prepare for them  The report will be updated where needed.  If the pricing exceeded expectations, the report is a good guide to find cost saving and the project into the hoped-for range.  When the details are worked out, we'll provide a construction contract and discuss start dates.
